I am so honoured to bring to you this wonderful conversation about art, creativity, books… and the moon cycle with Claire Baker.
We talk about:
- Claire’s favourite fiction and non-fiction book choices so far in her ‘book a week’ for a year ‘personal challenge’ (I’ve already bought them both on her recommendation!). +
- The health book that changed Claire’s life for good and started her passion for health and wellness
- Claire’s current favourite author and why. (And why its a great recommendation for ALL online entrepreneurs.)
- How Claire finds out exactly what her audience wants to learn from her (and why this is SO easily replicated by you.)

“It’s separating ourselves from the work. It’s appreciating our gifts and skills & talents, & expressing gratitude for being given them.” – Claire Baker
And also this from Claire on her social feed after we recorded our interview. (I loved this.)
“I was just asked an excellent question: how do you talk about periods online (and in YOUR HOMETOWN) without freaking out about what people will think?
I do freak out sometimes. I let myself freak out. And then I get the heck over myself. Because no matter what anyone thinks about our message / idea / business / blog etc. it isn’t about US. What we choose to do in the world (and how that is received) is an expression of who we are, but it isn’t US. If we’re focussed on being of service to others, it’s so much easier to quit worrying about what everyone else will think.
Do I care if someone thinks I’m weird for talking about periods? No, not really. Some might and probably do. But there are so many others who are down for this conversation, and that’s who I know I’m really talking to.
So talk about periods if you like, or ping-pong or just press publish on that bloody blog post already. Express your soul in the world.
And then move on. :)” – Claire Baker
